These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) set out the conditions applicable to the registration and participation in activities and services organised by Gulf Star Sports.
The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and the “Organiser” refer to Star Sports Services, trading as Gulf Star Sports, and, where applicable, its affiliates.
The terms “you”, “Participant” and “Participants” refer, as applicable, to the person participating in the activities and/or his or her parent or legal guardian.
The term “Activities” refers to sports training sessions, academies, camps, matches, tournaments, events, private sessions and any other sporting activities or programmes organised or provided by us.
By registering a Participant for any Activity, the Participant and his/her parent or legal guardian agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
1.1. Registration
All registrations must be completed by a parent or legal guardian where the Participant is under the age of 18.
The person completing the registration confirms that he/she has the necessary parental authority or legal capacity to register the Participant and accept these Terms and Conditions on the Participant’s behalf.
1.2. Personal Information
All information provided during registration must be complete and accurate, including the Participant’s full name, date of birth, contact details and any other information requested by us. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for informing us of any changes to such information.
1.3. Medical Information
Any relevant medical condition, allergy, injury or other health-related information which may affect the Participant’s ability to safely participate in the Activities must be disclosed to us. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for ensuring that the Participant is medically fit to participate in the relevant Activity.
We reserve the right to request additional medical information or a medical certificate where reasonably necessary.
2. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
By registering a Participant, the parent or legal guardian:
Where applicable, the parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for any wilful damage caused by the Participant to facilities, equipment or property belonging to Gulf Star Sports or any third party.
3. PAYMENTS
3.1. Fees
All applicable fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms communicated at the time of registration.
Registration may not be confirmed until the applicable payment has been received.
We reserve the right to refuse or suspend participation in any Activity where amounts due remain unpaid.
3.2. Prices
The applicable price will be the price communicated or displayed at the time of registration.
Prices may be amended from time to time. Any such amendment will not affect Activities already fully paid for, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
3.3. Methods of Payment
Payments may be made through the payment methods made available by Gulf Star Sports, including online payment, payment link or bank transfer, where applicable.
The parent or legal guardian making the payment is responsible for ensuring that the payment details provided are accurate and that he/she is authorised to use the relevant payment method.
4. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND MISSED SESSIONS
Registrations and purchases are generally non-refundable except where otherwise expressly agreed by Gulf Star Sports or required by applicable law.
No refund or make-up session will be provided where a Participant fails to attend a scheduled Activity for personal reasons, including travel, scheduling conflicts or other personal commitments.
Where a Participant is unable to participate for an extended period due to a medically certified injury or medical condition, Gulf Star Sports may, upon presentation of satisfactory supporting documentation, consider an appropriate credit, refund or alternative arrangement.
Any refund approved by Gulf Star Sports will be processed through the original method of payment where reasonably possible.
Specific programmes, camps, events or promotions may be subject to additional cancellation or refund conditions communicated at the time of registration.
5. SESSIONS, SCHEDULES AND LOCATIONS
Gulf Star Sports will use reasonable efforts to conduct Activities according to the schedules and locations communicated to Participants.
However, we reserve the right, where reasonably necessary, to change a coach, schedule, field, venue or location.
Activities may also be postponed, relocated or cancelled due to circumstances including weather conditions, venue closures, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Participants and parents/legal guardians are responsible for reviewing communications relating to changes in schedules or locations.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT
The safety and well-being of all Participants are of the utmost importance.
Participants must behave respectfully towards coaches, staff, other Participants, spectators and third parties and must comply with all reasonable safety instructions and rules applicable to the relevant facilities.
Gulf Star Sports reserves the right to refuse access to, suspend or remove from an Activity any Participant whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, inappropriate or otherwise contrary to the standards expected by Gulf Star Sports.
Serious or repeated misconduct may result in the Participant being excluded from future Activities.
Where a Participant is excluded as a result of his/her misconduct, Gulf Star Sports may refuse any refund for the affected Activities, subject to applicable law.
7. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Participation in sporting activities involves inherent physical risks.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that Participants are physically capable of participating in the relevant Activities and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions.
Participants must comply with all safety instructions provided by Gulf Star Sports coaches and staff.
In the event of an accident or medical emergency, Gulf Star Sports may take such reasonable steps as it considers necessary to protect the health and safety of the Participant, including contacting emergency medical services.
The parent or legal guardian will be informed as soon as reasonably practicable in the event of a serious incident.
8. INSURANCE
Participants are responsible for maintaining appropriate medical and personal insurance covering their participation in sporting Activities.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, registration with Gulf Star Sports does not include personal accident, medical or other insurance for the Participant.
Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to verify the scope of their insurance coverage before registering a Participant.
9. LIABILITY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
Gulf Star Sports will not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to any Activity or venue, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Participants should not bring unnecessary valuables to Activities and are responsible for taking reasonable care of their personal property.
Third-party venues, transportation providers, facilities and other service providers may be subject to their own terms and conditions and remain responsible for the services they provide.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
Gulfstar will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any obligations under an agreement that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (‘Force Majeure Event’).
‘Force Majeure’ means an event or sequence of events beyond our reasonable control that prevents or delays us from performing our obligations.
A Force Majeure Event includes, but is not limited to, the following: Acts of God; Flood, fire, earthquake, or explosion; War, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot, or other civil unrest; Government order or law; Actions, embargoes, or blockades in effect on or after the date of this Agreement; Action by any governmental authority; National or regional emergency; Strikes, labor stoppages, or slowdowns, or other industrial disturbances; Epidemic, pandemic, or similar influenza or bacterial infection; Emergency state; Shortage of adequate medical supplies and equipment; Shortage of power or transportation facilities; Other similar events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party.
Performance under any agreement is considered suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and an extension of time for performance is granted for the duration of that period.
Where an Activity is affected by such circumstances, Gulf Star Sports will use reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative where reasonably practicable.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND IMAGE RIGHTS
Photographs and videos may be taken during Gulf Star Sports Activities for sporting, promotional and communication purposes.
Subject to applicable law and any consent requirements, such photographs and videos may be used by Gulf Star Sports on its website, social media, brochures, advertising materials and other communication channels.
Where required, the parent or legal guardian authorises the use of the Participant’s image for these purposes without compensation.
Any specific request concerning the use of a Participant’s image should be communicated to Gulf Star Sports.
12. WEBSITE AND ONLINE BOOKING
The Gulf Star Sports website and online booking platforms are provided for personal and lawful use in connection with Gulf Star Sports Activities.
Users must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any website content, trademarks, photographs, materials or other intellectual property belonging to Gulf Star Sports without prior written authorisation.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and for activities carried out through their account.
13. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
Gulf Star Sports may collect and process personal information relating to Participants and their parents or legal guardians for purposes including:
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UAE data protection legislation, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 regarding the Protection of Personal Data, where applicable.
Gulf Star Sports will take appropriate measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
Participants and their parents or legal guardians may exercise their applicable data protection rights by contacting Gulf Star Sports.

14. AMENDMENTS
Gulf Star Sports may amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Any updated Terms and Conditions will become effective upon publication on the relevant Gulf Star Sports website or booking platform, unless otherwise stated.
Changes will not affect rights already accrued prior to the effective date of the amendment, subject to applicable law.
